Trunki have teamed up with the creators of the childrens character,  the Gruffalo to produce the latest limited edition trunki - Trunki Gruffalo.

If you have a child under the age of 12 then you are most probably aware of the Gruffalo story.  It has remained a favourite with children since it was published and won almost every award going.  Now it is an absolute classic.  The story is of a mouse walking through a wood, a deep dark wood, and as he is spotted by an animal for whom he is prey, he explains that he is going to dine with the most scary of creatures in the wood - the Gruffalo and it just so happens that his favourite food is them.

The book is written in short 4 line ryhmes  and is a very enjoyable read for both adults and kids.

The Gruffalo Trunki is the first trunki to be based on a licensed character and is excellent.  “His eyes are orange, his tongue is black, he has purple prickles all over his back” plus the big teeth and white horns. 

As with all Trunkies, trunki Gruffalo has the internal straps, storage pouch and plenty of space for your childs holiday essentials.  Trunki is designed to be ridden on, pulled along and carried on to the plane as hand luggage so it is made of strong stuff, in fact all trunki cases are made out of the same plastics as that used in the manufacture of adult cases.

Gruffalo Trunki is a limited edition for Christmas 2009 and so we are not sure how long he will be around for come 2010.  This is also the third new trunki of the year so best to buy one sooner rather than later if the Gruffalo is the one for your household !
