To use the Balanzza Ergo luggage scales simply press the on/off button, wait for approx 30 seconds for the scales to adjust, next tie the strap around your case / bag handle, then simply hold the Ergo digital luggage scales either side of the strap,  lift so the strap takes the weight of your luggage and wait for the beep.  As long as your piece of luggage weighs no more than 44kg or 100lbs you will have an accurate reading.
